Our Mission
At Hearts and Hands Preschool, we provide a loving, nurturing learning environment where students are respected and guided to thrive with the best tools available … our hands and hearts. We advocate for and value each student’s capacity to grow and achieve using developmentally appropriate and captivating lesson plans, giving them a wide variety of opportunities to express themselves and develop as whole children.

Amy HunterI am so excited to get to know you and your child this school year. I absolutely love being a teacher! I am so thankful for Hearts and Hands Preschool and the opportunity to fulfill a dream of mine and have my own preschool program. I live in Avon with my wonderful husband, Chad, and my two boys, Ben and Maxwell. I have a bachelor's degree in music education and a master's degree in emotional and behavioral disabilities. When I’m not working I enjoy running, playing piano, going to movies, and cheering on my boys in their extracurricular activities.

Kelly CarrI am honored to be a teacher and co-owner at Hearts and Hands Preschool! I have taught for over 20 years in early childhood education. I hold a K-6 and special education teaching license. I am committed to providing your child and family with a loving and developmentally sound foundation and instill a love for learning! In my time outside of the classroom, I am spending quality time with my husband, Kevin, and son, Owen, gardening, walking, and shopping at Target! Thank you for entrusting your precious children to us!
